USI Tech

by robf1 » Sat Jan 13, 2018 6:58 pm

I hear USI Tech has terminated all activity in the U.S and Canada due to some distributors doing some things online that could cause problem for the company. Anyone else heard about this?

Rob, this might shed some light:

On December 20th the Texas Securities Board sent shock waves through the MLM cryptocurrency Ponzi scene by issuing USI-Tech with a securities fraud cease and desist.

USI-Tech had ten days to request an emergency hearing, which would have required them to make a showing of good faith in an attempt to have the cease and desist lifted pending a hearing on the matter.

That deadline came and went, with the wider deadline for USI-Tech to provide the Texas Securities Board with evidence proving it is not a Ponzi scheme fast approaching.

If USI-Tech don’t provide the requested evidence by January 20th, USI-Tech’s securities offering will be declared officially illegal in the state of Texas. Although not confirmed, it is believed a federal SEC investigation is likely also underway.

Since December 20th, USI-Tech management have gone into hiding. Aside from two generic messages provided to affiliates in their backoffice, USI-Tech management have failed to personally address the alleged securities violations.

Now in a schedule being distributed to USI-Tech affiliates outside the US and Canada, it appears the priority for management is to keep investment alive elsewhere in the world.

According to a schedule doing the rounds, Mike Kiefer, USI-Tech’s Global Master Distributor, will be holding a Facebook Live event on Sunday, January 14th.

US and Canadian affiliates hoping for answers are sure to be disappointed, with the message stating:

Mike will NOT be discussing the USA/Canada situation on this livestream due to advise from the legal team!

I'm thinking this i going to be the case forthe majority of these cryptocurrency mlms. If you look at ithem real close, there is no real product. They say the crrytocurrency is the product, but thats not really so. Very simular to the gold mlms back in the 90s.

Yes. I've been in this industry for 30+ years and it's not where I would want to invest my future. Not for a direct sales or mlm business anyway.

Just a matter of time and all of these cryptocurrency deals will vanish. Just like with other programs which had no real product or service, but use the hot topic of the moment, whether forex options, binary options, and now crypto currencies rage, everyone and their Mother can purchase the software of all of these past scams and pump them out as new programs. Bottom line, I have yet to see one which has a real product or service. Nothing wrong with crypto currencies, the problem is most are scams, PERIOD.

I too research them all, and when this deal started, it was FOREX as I recall, and when that didn't grow as it was a saturated market, they shifted to crypto currencies. Do not waste your time or money on any crypto currency deal which promotes any investment returns or you will see the program shut down by SEC or in this case, state securities. I have a friend in South Africa who is involved, and even other countries are closing in on them, not just U.S. and CAN.

Success to all

I agree 100%. Not saying cryptocurrency is not going to be a big deal, but these mlm's and so called opportunities will end up being another black eye for our industry. :| I would be willing to bet the farm, NONE will be around still in 5 or more years.
And hey, if I'm wrong...I'll pay you in cryptocurrency.

I bought into this, as did many of my friends.

I was one of the lucky ones and only lose a couple thousand bucks.

Initially, I was very skeptical of it and wanted nothing to do with it, but my greed got the best of me when I talked with several successful people in the company.

I was into crypto before this, and still am, but will never mess with it via a MLM. I feel really bad for the people who lost a lot more money than I did. Hopefully, they will pay some of that money back, but I'm not counting on it.

If you're going to do MLM, make sure there is a physical product or legit service that you are promoting.

It was just a matter of time, and cryptocurrencies were perfect to be hyped to scam people. Bitcoin has been a winner, glad I got into early, but it is not something you want to get into via any MLM, too easy to get scammed since there is no money trail.
Yes, I put money into one such crypto MLM, but fortunately when I did, I made a mistake and transaction did not complete, and this was at the time bitcoin exploded to near $20,000.00 back in December of last year. So by leaving my bitcoins in my account, I made thousands, and thank God I didn't put the bitcoins into this deal, but many I know did and ended up loosing their bitcoin investment. Sad, if it had accomplished what was hyped, I would have made a fortune, so you never know, but better not to put anything into any cryptocurrency especially when it involves MLM. lol

Great points. I have yet to find one sustainable, successful Bitcoin MLM. Doubt it will ever happen.
