Full disclosure: I am not a BEACHBODY Coach or Consultant and am not being compensated by BEACHBODY for this product review.
When the mlm.com team decided to run a series on product reviews, let’s just say I was more than excited. I knew right away that the first product I wanted to review was 21 Day Fix by BEACHBODY. Why? Well, let’s just say that I have been pregnant a total of three times now, and with each pregnancy comes plenty of weight gain, which means that once the baby is born I have a lot of weight to lose. Sigh. It definitely feels daunting, but, the good news is that I am an ‘experienced’ BEACHBODY lover and have now done P90X, Insanity, and Brazil Butt Lift. With the help of each of these programs, I have successfully been able to lose all of my baby weight after each pregnancy. Don’t be fooled though, these programs are not for the faint of heart and they’re definitely not fad diets where you magically lose weight. Thus the reason I’ve had my eye on 21 Day Fix. I’m the type of person where I need to switch up my exercise and eating plans, otherwise I get bored and give up. So, let’s dive in. What’s so special about 21 Day Fix?
I placed my order on www.beachbody.com and 7 days later had the package in my house, ready to go. The last thing anyone wants is to get excited to start something and then have it take weeks for it to arrive. Right?
The package I ordered cost $140 and includes a 2 pound bag of strawberry Shakeology, a Shakeology mixing bottle, 3 DVD’s with 7 total workouts, 30 Shakeology recipes, a 3 day quick fix plan, a 21 Day Fix instruction manual, an 84-page eating plan and calendar plan, and 7 portion control containers. In other words, everything you need to successfully get in shape and lose weight. Perfect!
I love this plan because not only is it all mapped out for you, but it’s fool-proof, which is exactly what I need. I don’t have hours and hours to spend planning out meals, looking up workouts and trying to find recipes.
While pregnancy brings a lot of joy and excitement (and aches and pains, let’s be honest here), it doesn’t bring a lot of motivation to workout and monitor your eating. I still take walks and eat healthy (most of the time), but I also indulge in too many sweets and a lot more couch time. What I love about 21 Day Fix is that they provide you with the containers to get your portions back under control, a wide variety of recipes to try, and the workouts are all around 30 minutes. Win, win. Also, because of the popularity of 21 Day Fix, there are a lot of recipes online. All you have to do is go to Pinterest, type in 21 Day Fix and you can easily pin hundreds of recipes.
Ok, so now that I’ve told you all of the reasons why I’m excited to do 21 Day Fix, I also have to mention that I have not completed the entire program. I’m not able to give you a full review of why I love the workouts (which I’m sure I will) and all of the other details. That being said, I will update all of you with another post once I have completed the program. Wish me luck! If any of you are currently doing 21 Day Fix, comment below and tell me what you think!
